Mechanic Rocky IBomma Review
Mechanic Rocky delivers a compelling thriller, particularly in its second half, which is packed with engaging twists and turns. Vishwak Sen impresses with his performance, perfectly embodying his mass role and showcasing emotional depth during key moments. Meenakshi Chaudhary shines with her girl-next-door charm, while Shraddha Srinath steals the show with her transformation and impactful performance. Supporting cast members like Raghu and Harshvardhan add value to the narrative, while Naresh provides decent comedy in the initial half.
The film truly excels in the second half, thanks to director Ravi Teja Mullapudi’s gripping narration. The theme of cyber scams is handled effectively, maintaining a good balance between entertainment and relevance. Jakes Bejoy’s music, especially the background score, complements the story well, and Manojh Reddy’s cinematography adds a visual appeal, with standout action sequences and stunning shots of Hyderabad.
However, the first half feels slow and lacks energy. The comedy, flashbacks, and love story fall short of creating an emotional connection, and the lengthy runtime, particularly the unnecessary songs, hinders the film. Despite these drawbacks, the second half’s tight screenplay makes up for the earlier shortcomings.
Overall, Mechanic Rocky is a decent thriller that requires patience through its weaker first half to enjoy its thrilling second half fully. For fans of Vishwak Sen and those who enjoy mass entertainers with a touch of suspense, this film makes for a worthwhile watch.
