Ulajh IBomma Review
In Ulajh, Suhana (Janhvi Kapoor) is excited about her new job, hoping to impress her father, Vanraj Bhatia (Adil Hussain), who has reservations about her appointment. While she believes her success is due to her skills, her team in London sees it as nepotism. Suhana’s driver, Salim (Rajesh Tailang), supports her, but her romantic encounter with Michelin-star chef Nakul (Gulshan Devaiah) takes a dark turn when he blackmails her for Indian intelligence and trade secrets. As Suhana’s life unravels, she finds herself in a deepening crisis.
The film, which moves between London, India, and Pakistan, features numerous characters and plot twists, keeping the audience engaged with its shocks and thrills. Despite some pacing issues and loose ends, the screenplay remains compelling. Janhvi Kapoor delivers a strong performance, with Gulshan Devaiah impressing as the antagonist. Supporting roles by Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang, and Adil Hussain are well-executed. The cinematography and soundtrack effectively enhance the film’s mood, though the spy-thriller’s impact is uneven.
