I just watched the teaser for Vishwambhara and, honestly, I’m feeling confused. It seems like they’ve taken bits and pieces from big Hollywood films and mixed them together. Let me break it down for you.
Too Much Inspiration
First things first, the villain in Vishwambhara looks like he borrowed his costume directly from Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. I mean, seriously, couldn’t they come up with something new? Even the hero’s landing pose reminded me of Iron Man. It feels like the team behind this movie didn’t try hard enough to create something fresh.
Floating Islands – Seen That Before?
Remember the floating islands from Avatar? Well, they’ve made their way into this movie too! As cool as they looked in Avatar, here it just feels like a copy-paste job. The originality is missing, and that’s a letdown for a film trying to stand out.
Aliens and Prosthetics
I was surprised to see aliens in the teaser, and while the prosthetics looked decent, they reminded me a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy. They’ve used similar techniques, but it doesn’t feel unique. It’s like they’re trying to go futuristic but ended up reusing old ideas.
Visuals Are Good, But…
Visually, the floating islands and some of the CGI were pretty cool. But the lighting was off in many scenes. Sometimes it was too bright, other times it was too dark. And, let’s be honest, the green screen work was obvious in a few shots. Instead of feeling immersed in the world, I was reminded that I was watching a movie.
Hero Looks Too Clean!
Our hero seems to be more ready for a fashion show than a battle! His makeup and hair were so perfect, even during the action scenes. It’s hard to believe he’s fighting for his life when he looks like he just walked out of a salon. Where’s the grit? Where’s the realism?
What’s the Story?
After watching the teaser, I’m still not sure what the story is. It’s all action, but there’s no emotional connection. The visuals seem to be the main focus, but what about the heart of the film? The only thing that really impressed me was the music—it was catchy and added some life to the teaser. But music alone can’t carry a movie.
Final Thoughts
Vishwambhara has potential, but it feels like it’s trying too hard to copy successful Hollywood films. It needs more originality, especially in a fantasy-action genre. Hopefully, the actual movie brings something fresh to the table.
